Boris You are absolutley right -- my intention is to use the same MACRO code for multiple instances with variable parameters. This is to minimize the maintenance effort for "code" (I would like to avoid the "hard code" in MACRO for variables). LogMeTT still looks nice because of its GUI tree while I...

Oops! sorry, the correct syntax of MACRO is folloing;

start TTPMACRO xxx.ttl 192.168.0.1 password1
start TTPMACRO xxx.ttl 192.168.0.2 password2
start TTPMACRO xxx.ttl 192.168.0.3 password2

where xxx.ttl is a macro script.

This will activate three MACROs simultaneniously.

Boris, The typical way for me to use thse parameters with TTPMACRO is as follows; 1. Create MACRO which is written as re-entrant code. 2. Then activate the macro with parameters. The simple expample is monitor multiple IP device. This can be done as follows in DOS batch file start TTPMACRO 192.168.0...

Boris

It would be nice to see $INCLUDE$ as a solution of this request.

Although this is not very urgent/critical request, I hope that this modification would give us a lot of benefit.

Thanks for your prompt reply and kind advice!

Boris, I tried to use LogmeTT and got a simple question regarding LogmeTT. How can I specify the parameters for each MACRO connection in LogmeTT? Sorry to keep sending a message. All the test was done by using V2.3.1. However, I noticed that this version is probably outdated and may not be worthwhile to be investigated. With V4.1.x and single CPU, I cannot reproduce the problem. (I am not sure whether Dual CPU causes this problem or not...) S...

Boris Thanks for your comment. 1. I have confiemd that this problem happens with V2.3.1 and Single CPU. With 4.1.x, Dual CPU seems *MORE LIKELY* environment to cause this problem, but probably it will still happen with single CPU. 2. I already tried /V option and pause (from 1 to 10sec). Nothing cha...

Dear Sirs, This is just one more additional information for whose who use TTPMACRO to connect to POP3 Server. 1. If you modify Teraterm.ini to change the new-line code to CRLF from CR, then everything works fine. Using "send xxx #13 #10" behaves exactly same as "sendln xxx". 2. However, if you do no...

Yutaka

Thanks for your notice.

I am using TTPMACRO to automate the control of network device.
I have evaluated several scripts including Perl, Expect, PuTTY and others.

Finally, I reached at TeraTerm and TTPMACRO beause of its compactness.

Best regards
