Hi, It depends on what do you mean by compare. You can calculate the CRC of a file using macro. If two files have the same CRC then they will be the same. See http://ttssh2.osdn.jp/manual/en/macro/command/crc32.html . If you mean visually compare, then outside of macro there are lots of tools for co...

But you are waiting for the command prompt after the command so therefore the mpause should not be needed i.e. the command prompt should only appear after the command has completed. Hence my previous question. The wait for command prompt should really have a timeout and detect when a timeout occurs....

Sure, I have done this lots in the past. Something like this would do it: sendln "upgrade ymodem" ; wait for whatever the response is (if there is one) using wait or waitln   ymodemsend "C:\firmware.bin" if result then     messagebox 'Success' 'YMODEM' else     messagebox 'File t...

You can just click File -> Send file ... to send a file (check the binary checkbox when selecting the file). If you want to do this using a script (macro) then read here for how to run a macro: http://ttssh2.osdn.jp/manual/en/macro/ The sendfile macro command can be used to send a file: http://ttssh...

I can't see how this is related to Tera Term. Could you provide more detail as in what you are sending and what is being received? How are you connecting Tera Term to the entry gate? E.g. serial port or Ethernet. Isn't it more likely that this is related to how the entry gate works rather than Tera ...

Could it be that you are doing a right click? By default this pastes whatever is in the clipboard. This is common in some terminals. To disable/configure see:

It is better if you can provide the code in question otherwise it's difficult to know what is going on. Please provide. Need to know what the "result" variable is after you call recvln. Also need to know what you have set timeout to be. If you provide more detail on what you are trying to ...

Is the response line based? I.e. is there an end of line (carriage retrun and/or line feed character) and the end/beginning of the response? If so then here is an example (not tested) using recvln timeout = 5 sendln "switch ok_p" recvln ; may need two of these (one to consume the command e...

Yes, lots. E.g. wait, waitln, waitregex etc.
Provide an example of what you are receiving and what you want to extract from it and then people here can suggest example macro code.

You need to "tell" your PABX (host) to send the file using XMODEM. How that is done (what command to send to your PABX) will depend on the PABX you are using (presuming you PABX supports sending files by XMODEM).

Hi Boris, I didn't vote because none of the options reflected my view. I would have no need for such a tool but I would not want to say/vote that such a tool is not necessary as others might well find it very useful (but I have no way of knowing). So if there was an option for "I do not need su...

Hi luxlcd,
Do you want to send hex from a Tera Term macro or some other way?

As per my question above what exactly do you mean by hex? Do you mean a raw byte (which may not be printable) or do you mean 2 character string representing a hex value for a byte?

Please provide some examples.

Hi Joe, It would be much more odd if there were a signal for end of file. If you need to know end of file look at xmodem or ymodem or zmodem etc. These are protocols for this purpose, making send file into some proprietary protocol by having end (or start or length or CRC) would just be inventing an...

No it only sends what is in the file, no control character(s) are sent at the end.
