After logging into my network devices using SSH2 and logging off, Tera Term locks up when I try to open a new connection (ALT+N or File/New Connection). The only thing I can do is to close the window at which point I receive the popup error in the attachment here:

I am also attaching the TTSSH.log file which was created using loglevel=100 in TERATERM.INI. The log file shows three separate connections that exhibited this behavior.

I am using Teraterm v4.88 SVN#5990 and TTSSH v2.74 on Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit.

I've been using Teraterm for many years now and this problem has affected me for about a year, and I was hoping it was a common bug that would be fixed in an update, but sadly it hasn't been fixed.

Thanks and regards

Hi Migity,

Thank you for your feedback.
I am investigating your problem, currently I can not resolve the problem.

The 10053 error code is Winsock send function returning value. As below site,
it seems that the code is not software bug but network problem.
Windows's TCP/IP stack will fail to re-send a packet by default 5 times regarding
TcpMaxDataRetransmissions registry.

I will continue to investigate the problem, however it will be required
many time to resolve your problem. Please check your network environment
if it is possible.

Best regards, Yutaka Hirata
