Hi,

I have been using the "TTL editor" lately, but am very much frustrated with it as not being able to minimize and etc...

I have a third party editor tool like "Text Pad" where in by customizing a syntax file i have gotten the same look and feel of the TTL editor. But I still need to find a way to "RUN" the macro. Can you pl. suggest a method on what to call for running the macro.

Thanks,
Dattu.

Hi Dattu,

To run macro you need to execute ttpmacro.exe file from Tera Term installation directory and pass your .ttl file name as the command line argument.

Just out of curiosity - what exactly you are not able to minimize and what else causes you so much frustration?
Thanks.
Best regards,
Boris

Hi Boris,

Thank you very much for your response.

I am actually facing a lot of trouble handling the TTL Editor window. When i try to minimize the window to look something else, its not letting me to do. So, i have to click on "Show desktop"-- windows utility to goto another window/program.

This is one of the major concerns... I dont remember now, but over the period of time thought few things like that... Will let u know as and when they strike to me...

Hope this could improve...

Thanks,

You can upgrade TTLEditor to the latest build released just 2 weeks ago. It fixes several bugs and contains updated syntax highlighter supporting the latest Tera Term version 4.76

As for the issue you are having, it is XP problem. I have experienced it myself with several different applications. Check this link, it suggests one of the solutions: http://www.exploringwindows.com/ruXP/De ... mizing.htm
Thanks.
Best regards,
Boris
