How not to launch teraterm automatically, in ttl script?
I am lover for teraterm & logmett. however sometime I have to use putty instead for testing.
In this case, I need to use logmett continuously.
so I try to edit my logmett script to launch putty like this

Code: Select all

  1.
  2. msg='-ssh '
  3. strconcat msg username
  4. strconcat msg '@'
  5. strconcat msg hostname
  6. strconcat msg ' -pw '
  7. strconcat msg password
  8.
  9. execline='C:\DevTools\_putty\putty.exe '
  10. strconcat execline msg
  11. ;messagebox  execline 'KJK_DEBUG'
  12. exec execline
  13. ; putty.exe -ssh root@192.168.1.1 -pw password
  14.

however above script always launch the teraterm and then launch putty.
Is there any way to execute putty only?

please let me know. I would appreciate for it in advance.

Hi,

You can consolidate all that code to this:

Code: Select all

  1.
  2. execline = ''
  3.
  4. sprintf2 execline 'C:\DevTools\_putty\putty.exe -ssh %s@%s -pw %s' username hostname password
  5. exec execline
  6.

The only way not to launch tera term is not to use it.

Use a batch file:

Code: Select all

  1.
  2. @echo off
  3. set uname=test
  4. set pwd=#`F$(*&!-=~
  5.
  6. start /max  C:\Windows\System32\putty.exe -load "Session1" -l %uname% -pw %pwd%
  7.
  8. @echo on
  9.

Hi,
LogMeTT was designed to work only with Tera Term. Even the name "LogMeTT" is the compilation of words Log Me in Tera Term. That's why start of Tera Term is hard coded into the application. Unfortunately I cannot promise you changing this any time soon, because for the last 7-8 months I practically had no time to work on LogMeTT development :worriedsad:
Thanks.
Best regards,
Boris

Thanks.
I hope that LogMeTT will be used as a common hub for launching terminal...

Temporary I put this line on the top of code
closett ; for autoclosing teraterm... not good way.
