I've had a couple of issues with my macro that I need help with. I've tried to search the forum for them but with no positive results. I hope some of you may be able to solve these two problems.
new line (CRLF) in inputbox. How is it possible? I'm sure this is stupid easy but if I'm writing a long sentence, the inputbox will occupy a large space on the desktop. I would like to have a line break which will make the inputbox smaller and more like a square than a rectangle.
THIS ONE IS
Since I'm scripting my macro for non-tech savy people to use, figuring out which COM-port the user can connect through is not an option
. I figured out how to fetch available COM-ports through a powershell
command (thanks for this one Boris!).
The comport.txt lands in the same dir as macro and contains only one line which says "COM7" (in my case).
I tried a lot of different commands and combinations (openfile readln etc) but cant really get the macro to even read the line.
If someone knows how to make a connect command based on the information provided in the comport.txt I would greatly appreciate it!
