We are using TeraTerm 4.66 / SSH to a Solaris 10 server.

Users' passwords have a 90 day life cycle. Passwords expires after 90 days, forcing users to enter a new password. On our old VT100 emulator using telnet, the users were prompted to enter a new password once their passwords expired.
Using TeraTerm SSH this is no longer the case, and users have to request a password reset from the sysadmin (me)

We use the "Use chalenge/response to log in" option, with "Remember password in memory" selected

How / where do we need to do to retain the same functionality, or is this a SSH "feature"?

Thankx

Hi dewets,

Currently, Tera Term(TTSSH) can not support the changing password for SSH2 protocol.
If this feature is enabled, I have to implement the SSH2_MSG_USERAUTH_PASSWD_CHANGEREQ into the TTSSH source code.

I will support the feature in the future.

Thanks.

Hi,

I have supported the keyboard-interactive method for changing the
user password. I have tested my program by using OpenSolaris 2009.06
version. Please evaluate below archive.

Thanks.
