Hello,

I found TTProxy module of TeraTerm extension. This module has the function of http, telnet and SOCKS proxying. If the module works well on TeraTerm 4, I will include the module on TeraTerm next version.
But I don't have testing environment of proxying. Would you like to testing this module?

TTProxy is distributed in the following site:
http://yebisuya.dip.jp/DL/YebiSocks-20040122.lzh

If you copy 'TTXProxy.dll' file in the archive to TT directory, you can use HTTP/TELNET/SOCKS proxying.

Hi,

Yutaka: That is great news for all TeraTerm users!!! :D

For those who wish to test SOCKS proxying in TeraTerm here are the steps to follow:

1) Install TeraTerm version 4.10 from the following link if you have not done this earlier:
http://logmett.com/freeware/TeraTerm/ ... f8_410.exe

2) Download DLL file from here http://logmett.com/freeware/TeraTerm/ttxproxy.dll
and save it in TeraTerm directory.

3) Start TeraTerm and go to 'Setup' -> 'Proxy' menu to configure proxy.

4) Start new TeraTerm connection as you usually do.

Please post the results of your tests into this topic.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Boris

Hello Boris,

Thank you for your presentation.
When I directly contacted TTProxy author, I got his approval for including TTProxy DLL file in TeraTerm4.
By the way, TTProxy is developed in TeraTerm 2.3. I think that TTProxy might not work well on TeraTerm 4. If so, I will rebuild TTProxy source code.

Hi Yutaka,

We tested proxying via SOCKS5 using TTProxy.dll and it worked fine :D

I think you can start including this DLL into TeraTerm installation package.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Boris
