Hi,
in Putty I was able to set up a SSH tunnel for SOCKS proxying, which allowed me to redirect web browsing through the remote SSH server. I did this by setting up Dynamic port forwarding on a local port.
Is it possible to do the same in Tera Term? Does Tera Term have Dynamic port forwarding? I have looked at the Proxy dialog box but it's a little bit over my head to be honest.
Thank you.

Any changes or ideas in the almost 3 years since this post?

SSH tunneling is becoming not only very useful, but in many cases now, a very necessary means of connecting to many hosts.

This can easily be done with a number of commercial SSH clients, but can we do it in LTT or TT?

If so, how?

Thanks!
