Hello,
I am logging data being sent from a microprocessor. That works fine.
Now I want the processor to monitor if TeraTerm is running (and reciving data). I thougth I could use the "Answerback" feature, but can't quite figure out how to use it. I tried to enter "OK" for the answerback string, but I am not receiving anything.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Set the Answerback to whatever (Setup -> Terminal). Then get your microprocessor to send the byte 0x05 and Tera Term will send the Answerback string you defined back to your microprocessor. Just tried it here on V4.93 and it works.

Thank your for the suggestion, but it still doesn't work
I am sending the hex value "05", and I receive $05 on TeraTerm. In the Answerback field I have "OK". I tried to monitor the transmit pin with a logic probe, but is not getting any pulse. To be sure my logic probe is working correct, I enabled the echo feature and when typing something on the keyboard, then I am getting pulses on the transmit line.
Any other suggestion?
