Version 2.9.7 Release Notes

• Default installation directory for this version depends on user access rights. Suggested options are: C:\Program Files\LogMeTT for Power-users and Administrators or User Profile’s home directory for regular users.
• When upgrading from version 2.9.5 use Help->Upgrade License menu of Configuration utility to upgrade user profile based LogMeTT license to machine-wide license. This is one time change that cannot be undone.
• If TeraTerm home directory differs from C:\Program Files\TeraTerm and is not the same as LogMeTT installation directory, path to TeraTerm has to be manually configured from Updates->TeraTerm page of Settings window. Without correct path to TeraTerm LogMeTT will not be able to execute macros and will not provide access to TeraTerm help file.
• Under Windows 7 LogMeTT icon by default will be hidden. This rule applies to all tray icons under Windows 7. Change Windows Task bar properties to make LogMeTT tray icon always visible, if needed.
• Under different Windows versions, when the Windows startup process takes too long, LogMeTT icon, if "Start at log on" option is selected, may not appear. This is due to the know Windows bug described in the Appendix A of LogMeTT help file LogMeTT.chm. Use Startup delay parameter to address this issue. It is located on General->Tray Application page of Settings window.
• Before upgrading backup all your .LTT files and close LogMeTT Configuration utility.

Changes in version 2.9.7

• Added Smart Tile option to "Run all selected nodes" function. If Smart Tile is checked, LogMeTT will wait until all macro scripts it started finish execution and then tile open Tera Term windows. This function has hardcoded 1 minute timeout value. If more than 1 minute passes since starting the last macro and macros are still running, Tera Term windows will not be tiled.
• Added autoscroll functionality to the Connection Tree control to keep focused node visible at all times.
• Added Reverse Color support which was recently introduced in Tera Term. LogMeTT 2.9.7 will automatically populate reverse color for LTT files created in previous versions. This new feature slightly changes the format of LTT file. Pre-2.9.7 versions of LogMeTT, while reading newly formatted LTT files, will default all color settings to TERATERM.INI file values.
• Optimized temporary ini file creation algorithm.
• Changed the way "Log session" option is working. Instead of injecting macro command LogOpen, now command line parameter /L= is used.
• Updated Macro Editor Font setup in Settings Window. It now also applies to the Connection Tree.

Bugs fixed in version 2.9.7

• Fixed $TTDIR$ keyword pointing to LogMeTT directory instead on TeraTerm directory. This bug was introduced in version 2.9.6.
• Fixed the bug when in "Run all selected nodes" mode, once in a while, LogMeTT would not pass node colors to Tera Term.
• Fixed the bug related to Font Character Set selection in "Use this Font in Tera Term" mode.
• Fixed the bug when RunLTT was not able to locate ttermpro.exe if LogMeTT is installed in a separate directory.
