On a new computer, using Windows 7, the LogMeTT License Installation fails with the message
"Checking user access rights... INSUFFICIENT. The application does not have the rights to create file in C:\ProgramFiles\LogMeTT\ directory. Try to run LogMeTT.exe as administrator to resolve this issue."

But the only account on this laptop is mine, and I do have administrator privileges! I don't know of any way to be any more of an administrator than I now am. It is true that whenever I install a program, a window pops up asking me if I really want to allow it to happen; could that be the problem? On the other hand, no other program has failed to load properly.

Nevertheless you are admin on your computer, Windows 7, by default, starts every application with reduced set of user rights. This is done to increase security.

To solve your problem go to LogMeTT installation directory, right click on each .EXE file and in the popup menu set property "Run As Administrator". Then restart LogMeTT.

Or you can install LogMeTT into the folder recommended for non-admin users.
