Hi all,

Many of you probably mentioned that after installing the latest versions of TeraTerm, when you logon to Windows TeraTerm Menu icon appears in the system tray.

TeraTerm Menu was developed in 1997-2003 by Shinpei Hayakawa and currently Yutaka Hirata took over and improves it further as part of TeraTerm package.

From another side I started developing LogMeTT independently at the beginning of 2004, not even knowing that TTMenu exists and currently both these applications are serving the same purpose - to make it easy accessing TeraTerm macros.

Neither of these 2 applications is mandatory part of TeraTerm package and you can remove any of them or even both if you do not use them. Check LogMeTT help file to learn how to remove LogMeTT from your PC.

If you want to run LogMeTT at logon to Windows use corresponding checkbox in 'Settings' page of LogMeTT Configuration Window. For adding TTMenu to startup list just create shortcut to it in Programs->Startup submenu of Windows. If you do not need any of these tools to run at logon to Windows perform the steps opposite to ones described above in this paragraph.
