Hey ppl,
I've been using LogMeTT recently (and I'm new to Tera Term Macro language) to make a script that makes automatic backups of 'running-config' in cisco devices (and I would gladly post it here once is finished since it'll be really helpful to system administrators to keep backups of working configurations automatically =D, and I want to contribute the community somehow)
Now, I struggled for 3 days trying to figure out how to create an encrypted password file, I admit I lacked cleverness by not reading the 'getpassword' command properly, but the name is so counter intuitive for the purpose that I discarded it immediately. Today I found out that there is actually no other way to create a password file.
So I propose some implementation of a command like 'setpassword' to only create password files and no more, and leave 'getpassword' as is for backward compatibility. IMHO is much more intuitive and comfortable perhaps.
Everything else is just great
